This page controls how the predictor behaves and how battery guidance is calculated. Changes save automatically as you edit values.
These values tune the predictor against actual EDF prices. Green and Amber offsets
shift the prices so they better match real bills.
Economy 7 price is used as the
comparison point for colour-coding.
These values adjust Morning SoC based on tomorrow's expected solar.
Good solar reduces
overnight charging, medium solar makes a smaller change, and bad solar keeps more charge overnight.
These settings let very cheap overnight Green prices increase the Morning SoC recommendation. They are there to capture unusually cheap charging windows, especially when solar is unlikely to recharge much the next day.
These limits cap the minimum and maximum Morning and Pre-Peak values. They act as guard rails so recommendations stay in a practical range.
This table sets the seasonal baseline for battery targets. Morning SoC is your early-day target, and Pre-Peak SoC keeps reserve for the later FreePhase period when solar may be lower.
